Cão Sem Dono is an animation about a dog that cannot find an owner on Earth and encounters conceit and arrogance. In his loneliness he concocts a plan to build a rocket ship, fly to the moon, and find an owner. After he lands on the moon he soon discovers that the human owner he was hoping to find turns out to be an android/robot. Undaunted, he soon discovers he has found his owner nonetheless. Metaphorically the animation is a contemplation about death and the spirit leaving Earth for good. Encapsulated in this narrative is a wish for peace and comfort after the here and now.
