The Plague Doctor is an animation that I am currently developing. The narrative involves a plague doctor and a pack of dogs that have survived a radiation disaster. The animation is my response and ideas regarding the downfall of a highly technological society. The figure of the plague doctor in the animation is a cross between a scientist/doctor and a religious person. The animation questions “progress” and likens the pursuit of bigger technology to ideas of immortality and avoidance of loss at any cost.
